Ecclessiastical Fabrics

Our company has been a pioneer in the development of manual fabrics with the use of a jacquard machine. The “espolines” or hand woven brocades continue being made exactly the same way they used to be when the company was established in 1820. Even today we receive the visits of textile experts from all over the world who find hard to believe this tradition has been kept well into the 21st century.

The ecclesiastical fabrics were a major player in the company´s activity during the first decades after its founding. The church was a prominent customer, not only in Spain, but also abroad.

Although its demand has decreased, Garin still keeps in production the designs and qualities that made the company popular as a supplier of ecclesiastical fabrics.
