Without a doubt, the “Fallas” festival has been a key player in Garin being able to keep the manual looms section alive.

The rich floral silk brocades used in the embellishment of the regional dress and its popularity amongst the Valencian girls, especially during the Fallas festival (March 15th to 19th each year) have made possible to keep alive a hand weaving tradition that started almost 300 years ago in the region of Valencia.

Today, customers can choose from more than 30 archives designs, which are still being woven in any of our 12 manual looms dating back to the beginning of the 19th century.
